Privacy Policy
Effective October 9, 2026
iClapper is designed to work locally on your iPad. We do not operate an account system, advertising network, or analytics service in the current version of the app.
Microphone and motion data
With your permission, iClapper processes microphone input and device motion in real time to detect a physical clapper strike. Audio recordings and motion samples are not saved, uploaded, or shared.
Project and shot-log data
Projects, slate values, saved tags, and shot logs are stored locally on your device. iClapper does not upload this information to a server. You can export CSV shot logs and project backup files; those files are created only when you request an export, and you control where they are saved or shared.
Data collection
iClapper does not currently collect personal data, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, location, contacts, photos, or audio recordings.
Third parties
The current app does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. Apple may process information related to App Store purchases, downloads, TestFlight, and crash reporting under Apple’s own privacy policies.
Changes
If future versions introduce cloud sync or other online services, this policy and the App Store privacy information will be updated before those features are released.
